The things kids say!

I couldn't find anything to wear this morning. I tried on at least 7 different outfits! Devyn came in the room when I was putting on a hoodie that I though made me look fat. I asked him if I looked skinny or fat. He said, "well, you look a little skinny and a little fat." I can always count on Devyn to tell me the truth. I asked him where I looked fat at, he pointed to of course my lower stomach. You should've seen him, he was circling me to try and look at me from every angle....lol. The hoodie I put on was kinda baggy, so I lifted it up and asked Devyn if I still looked fat. He says to me, " I think you might be having another baby." At that very moment it was obviously to me that I need to do some serious working out. Man, I love that boy! That's all the motivation I need :)

Big Boy!!!

Devyn is officially registered for Kindergarten.....OMG! he's getting soo big. Last thursday we went to the open enrollment night at Brown's Point Elementry, it was alot of fun. There were tons of families there....including my good friend Anna and her daughter Gwen. The teachers split us up into three groups, we got to tour the school, fill out all of our paper work and take a bus ride. Devyn said the bus ride was boring....lol. It was 7:30 at night, not much to see. I've always been told to charish every moment of my child's life, because before you know it they'll be all grown up. Now I've seen right before my eyes how quickly it can happen. Devyn is an amazing little boy who impresses me every day by what he says and does; I can't wait to see what's next :)

I'm a tired momma

I'm completely exhausted!!! My baby Aiden is 7 months now and won't sleep through the night...awww! He goes to bed around 8:30 or 9pm right after I feed him a jar of food and a small bottle. You'd think that would keep him full until at least 5 or 6am....think again. He's been waking up two or three times during the night....every night! He wakes up screaming and won't stop until I put a bottle in his mouth. This has been going on for at least 4 straight weeks. He's at the age when babies are teething, but I don't see any signs of little teeth coming through. Last night he was really fussy before bed, so I gave him some Tylenol. I thought to myself, maybe he is teething and I just don't know what to look for in his mouth. Either the tylenol didn't work or it wore off, because Aiden woke up at 2:45 this morning screaming. So I changed his diaper and made a bottle. JR feed him and put him back to sleep......in our bed! That's like not going back to sleep at all. I never actually sleep because i have to scoot to the edge of the bed and make sure I don't do anything to wake him.
Next thing I know JR is whispering at me to wake up because it's 5:35am. Like that's gonna get me up, I'm used to the alarm going off for a few minutes. Then all of a sudden JR is shaking me telling me it's 6:07am.....in other words "really late!" So I jump out of bed and immediatley get in the shower, which I never do first. I always go down stairs poor a cup of coffee and watch the news for 20 minutes. Not today! I had an hour and 15 mins to get three poeple ready for the day. Talk about stressful.....I hate being late for work. So I'm running around the house like a crazy women and I go in my room to figure out what I'm gonna wear and what do I see.....my husband and my dog soo cozy in the bed still sleeping. Man was I jealous. No biggy though, I managed to get everything done in the nick of time. Mom picked Devyn up at 7:30, I left the house at 7:45, dropped Aiden off at Erin's by 7:55 and made it into work only 6 minutes after the hour. Wooh! What a crazy morning....did I mention this is what it's like every other morning...hahaha! The craziness of working full time and raising two boys :)
